Description

Confort C300 NPTW is a vacuum pump for wound therapy, the essence of which is to affect the affected areas with negative pressure.

As a result of which bacteria and excess tissue fluid are removed from the wound, which causes swelling and impedes blood supply.

It is intended for patients with chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and open wounds, burns, ulcers (diabetic and from bedsores).

Indications:

orthopedic trauma,
soft tissue trauma,
skin grafting,
bedsores,
leg ulcers,
diabetic foot,
burns,
open abdominal wounds,
treatment of surgical infections and other surgical wounds.

C300 3 therapy modes:

1. Safe therapy mode

Continuous mode is the most common treatment mode. It treats the wound, constantly working with an adjusted pressure level.

The continuous therapy device is compatible with standard wound closure sets, silver sets, incision sets and abdominal sets.

2. Intermittent Therapy Mode

The intermittent therapy mode treats with two different preset negative pressure values at intervals.

The device allows the vacuum to be applied throughout the therapy and repeats the timed transition cycle according to the set time.

3. Instillation Therapy Mode

In the instillation therapy mode, a chosen solution is sent into the wound. The vacuum stops, and the solution is held on the wound for a set time. Then, the vacuum restarts, drawing the solution out. This cycle repeats, ensuring continuous wound treatment. The solution is delivered and removed through a sterile cartridge at the edge of the device.

The system can be used in both newborns (from 12 days of age) and adults, however, before starting therapy, the patient’s weight, wound type and general health must be assessed by a medical professional.
