Instructions
Expected
Heaco HCO-05 is a dynamic medical system specially designed for active prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers in patients with limited mobility.
Thanks to the alternating pressure technology, the mattress minimizes constant pressure on tissues, maintains healthy blood supply and is an indispensable assistant in the process of long-term rehabilitation both in clinics and at home.
Patients after a stroke, spinal injuries or paralysis of the limbs.
People with fractures of the pelvis, hip and other injuries requiring prolonged bed rest.
Patients with severe heart, respiratory failure or terminal conditions.
Elderly people with limited ability to independently change body position.
Patients with risk of tissue ischemia, diabetes and vascular diseases.
Key benefits and features:
Static pressure function: allows you to quickly fill all 130 cells at once, creating a stable, flat surface. This is necessary for medical procedures, dressings or feeding.
Low-noise compressor: built-in anti-vibration system ensures quiet operation that does not disturb the patient’s peace and sleep.
Thickened fabric (0.3 mm): made of high-quality medical PVC (Taiwan Nanya K80), which is characterized by increased wear resistance and ease of care.
Efficient cycle: the compressor changes the pressure in the chambers every 10 minutes, providing a constant soft tissue massage.
The variable pressure pump and low air loss mattress provide variable pressure and are designed for use in the prevention and treatment of bedsores. The bubble cushion provides excellent therapeutic treatment by alternating 130 individual bubble cells that inflate and deflate every 5 minutes, never putting too much pressure on any affected area. The variable pressure pump, 4 LPM (liters per minute), creates an even flow of air, regulates the pressure, and its quiet technology alternately inflates and deflates the air chambers
Operation
Place the pump on a horizontal surface or hang it from a hook.
Spread the mattress on the bed. Secure it with the end flaps or straps. The air tubes should be at the foot of the bed.
Connect the air supply tubes to the air outlet on the mattress and the pump, making sure the tubes are not twisted. Leave space for the bed rails to drop freely.
Turn on the pump. The power switch indicator will light. The pump will begin to pump air into the mattress.
Additional Features
Static Pressure Function
This compressor mode provides constant and even air pressure simultaneously in all sections of the mattress. This creates a stable support surface, which is often used during care procedures, patient transfers, or for short breaks from cyclic massage.
Turn the pressure level control to the left to the Static mark to switch the compressor to the Static Pressure mode.
The mode will run for approximately 6 minutes. To turn off the Static Pressure mode, turn the pressure level control to the right to the 1 mark.
NOTE! Static Pressure Mode – use only for short periods (for procedures/feeding).
Prolonged use reduces pressure ulcer prevention, as it eliminates the pressure change that is critical to preventing tissue damage.
*the warranty applies to compressor malfunctions caused by the manufacturer. The warranty also covers a factory defect in the mattress if, during operation, a factory defect is detected within 14 days, which prevents the product from being used. The product must be used only for its intended purpose.
