Instruction
It is designed for patients suffering from chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and open wounds, burns, or ulcers (including diabetic and decubital ulcers).
The continuous mode is the most common treatment mode. In this mode, the device treats the wound by continuously keeping pressure at an adjusted level. The continuous therapy device is compatible with standard wound closure kits, silver kits, discission kits, and abdominal cavity kits.
In the intermittent therapy mode, the device treats the wound by applying negative pressure at two different pre-set levels with a certain time interval. The device allows applying vacuum throughout the therapy and repeating the temporary transition cycle based on the set time.
In the instillation therapy mode, the device instills the required solution into the wound at required intervals and then waits on the wound surface for a specified time, while the wound is being treated by negative pressure. After that, negative pressure and evacuation is repeated again. This cycle makes the wound heal throughout the treatment. During instillation therapy, when the solution enters the wound, the vacuum is removed, and the solution is left in the wound for some time. The solution is instilled into the wound within the device using a sterile cartridge, and drawn back using the same system.
